OUR VISION

The Prince of Peace Church wants to be a Christ-centered intergenerational and innovative church that transforms people into world changers - by building community, making disciples, and reaching the lost.

MISSION

To be an intergenerational church that attracts people from all walks of life and connects them to God through Jesus Christ.

Meet Our Pastor

Rev. Bobby D. Hines, Jr., M.Div, serves as Interim Pastor of The Prince of Peace Church, bringing a passion for preaching, community engagement, and servant leadership. A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, Rev. Hines has faithfully served in ministry since being licensed to preach in 2010 and ordained in 2016. He is the founder of Rhema Empowerment Ministries, an outreach-focused ministry dedicated to meeting the spiritual and practical needs of the community through faith, hope, and service. Rev. Hines holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Strayer University, a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from the same esteemed institution. Known for his compassionate spirit, biblical teaching, and commitment to empowering others, Rev. Hines is dedicated to helping individuals grow in their faith while strengthening the church’s impact throughout the community.
